We're seeking someone to join our Technology team as a Senior Network Administrator in Enterprise Tech & Services to drive the platform setup front to back, working with 3rd party vendors to evaluate their solutions, collaborating with various organizations inside Morgan Stanley to integrate and further customize the solution.

This is a Lead Cloud & Infra Engineer position at Director level, which is part of the job family responsible for managing and optimizing technical infrastructure and ensuring the seamless operation of IT systems to support business needs effectively.

What you'll do in the role:

 

  • Communicate regularly with product leads across the technology organization and discuss opportunities for improvement to existing and future technology solutions.  
  • Responsible for the management and maintenance of network, firewall, VPN, proxy, load balancer.
  • Responsible for the management and maintenance of voice system, voice recording system and video room system.
  • Responsible for the maintenance and troubleshooting of infrastructure related application systems, eg. MobileIron, Citrix/Netscaler.
  • Responsible for management of datacenter and cabling system.

 

What you'll bring to the role:

 

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple functions or guide junior staff and initiatives. Advanced understanding of business line and discipline with some knowledge of competitive environment and other disciplines.
  • Bachelor’s degree or above, experienced in network operation and maintenance, experience in the Financial Services sector preferred.
  • Proficient in Cisco router, switch, certification prefer to have.
  • Proficient in Fortinet firewall, Fortinet proxy, F5, certification prefer to have.
  • Proficient in the use of operation and maintenance analysis tools.
  • Familiar with Avaya and voice recording system.
  • Experience with MobileIron, Netscaler.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, enthusiastic, strong team player.
  • Quick learner.
  • Working language: Chinese and English.
  • At least 6 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role.
