We're seeking someone to join our team as a Delivery Engineer in Investment Management Technology to bridge the gap between our technical capabilities and the complex needs of our clients, to ensure our clients receive tailored solutions that drive their success.

 

In the Technology division, we leverage innovation to build the connections and capabilities that power our Firm, enabling our clients and colleagues to redefine markets and shape the future of our communities. This is a Delivery Engineer position at Associate level, which is part of the job family responsible for maintaining the stability and reliability of the organization's infrastructure systems, ensuring optimal performance and availability to support business operations.

What you'll do in the role:

 

  • Contribute to the function through complex project tasks and initiatives.
  • Interact regularly with team members and occasionally leadership on a range of topics. 
  • Engage with clients from different areas to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications, ensuring alignment with all control standards.
  • Architect and implement scalable, high-performance solutions, leveraging technologies such as APIs, cloud technology etc.
  • Conduct thorough technical presentations and demonstrations to showcase the value of solutions, influencing key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, infrastructure and engineering to inform product roadmaps and improve existing features based on client feedback.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including front-to-back solution architecture diagrams and implementation guides.
  • Responsible for working with multiple teams to develop IT system architecture design, including hardware planning/design, software architecture and connectivity

 

What you'll bring to the role:

 

  • Ability to process information, translate into plans and present summaries to stakeholders. Experienced understanding of business line and discipline.
  • Working experience in solutions engineering or technical business analyst role, preferably within financial industry.
  • Demonstrated strong ability to design and implement complex solutions that solve customer challenges.
  • Good understanding in Application Architecture, Cloud Architecture, CICD and DevOps.
  • Proven track record of working in agile development environments.
  • Good written and oral communication skills in both English and Mandarin
  • Strong team player/leader with good collaboration/teamwork spirit.
  • At least 4 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role.
