We're seeking someone to join our team as a Team and Technical Program Lead in Investment Management Technology to lead, manage large scale projects, translate business requirements into technical solutions and align with the organization's strategic objectives.

 

In the Technology division, we leverage innovation to build the connections and capabilities that power our Firm, enabling our business partners to redefine the capabilities and drive the business. This is a Team Lead and Technical Program Management position at VP level, which is part of the job family responsible for leading, providing analysis and expertise that drives decision-making, transforms and integrates Tech stacks that power the businesses.

What you'll do in the role:

 

  • Manage and contribute to the function through a range of operational activities and project management, developing an understanding of the business and operating environment.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze and deliver technical solutions.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and impact analysis to assess the potential benefits and risks of proposed solutions and drive cross-team collaboration.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to drive consensus among stakeholders on project scope and objectives.
  • Design functional architecture and refine requirements, use cases, and user stories to guide application integration, development and testing efforts.
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and business units, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project deliverables.
  • Manage project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders on status, risks, and issues.
  • Provide leadership, partnership and technical guidance to Tech teams, collaborate with Subject Matter Experts and global partners.
  • Conduct regular project reviews and post-implementation reviews to identify lessons learned and drive continuous improvement in the IT program management process.

 

What you'll bring to the role:

 

  • Ability to engage with the broader teams, communicate goals, collaborate in solutions, manage tasks and deliverables.
  • Working experience as a Team Lead and Project Management or similar roles, preferably within financial industry
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering technology projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies, particularly Agile development.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically about complex business problems.
  • Strong communication, with ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Good written and oral communication skills in both English and Mandarin 
  • Strong leadership, influencing skills and people management.
